The two sources of thermal water lie at a depth of 160 and 200 m, both were discovered in 1989. In the main lake water temperature is at roughly 33-34 C° – the ideal temperature for your wellbeing. Both lakes and the pools are equipped with hydro massage devices of various kinds (jacuzzis, jets, waterfalls fountains, cascades, geysers).
They are lit in the evening so bathing at night is also possible. The main lake (5000 m2) is in front of the Wintergarten-Pavilion (restaurant, changing and relax area, toilettes etc.), and its water temperature is around 33-34°C.
In this lake there are two pools with a temperature of 37-39°C. Circulation of water in the main lake is guaranteed and occurs in 48 h (3.500 m3 of water per day are pumped in and 3.000 m3 out). The main lake dates back to the end of the 18th century when the park was created, but at time the water was cold. The small lake was realised when the park was opened.
